Once upon a time there were several members representing the Fluid Dynamics Group.
After my retirement, I alone represent the Fluid Dynamics Group,
doing research work in several fields.
In addition, I picked up my most beloved subject
of applied mathematics, especially the historical question,
wherefrom the special functions came into discussion and
what motivated the famous mathematicians of earlier times
to investigate them so carefully.
